Tori’s Chocolate Cake

2 medium cakes or 1 large

Time & temp

20 mins prep. 30-35 mins cook. 180ºC.  

Ingredients

  • 2 Cups castor sugar
  • 60g Butter (1/4 cup canola oil)
  • 2 Eggs
  • Vanilla 
  • 3/4 Cup plain yoghurt
  • 6 Tablespoons cocoa
  • 1 Cup water
  • 2 Cups plain flour 
  • 1 1/2 Teaspoons Bi-Carb
  • 1/2 Teaspoon baking powder

Method

Cream sugar and butter (Canola Oil) in a large boil and once smooth, add the eggs and vanilla essence. Add the remaining ingredients one by one, beating until smooth with each addition. Bake in a 180ºc oven.

Makes 1 large cake or two medium sized.
